Our Argentinian “Parilla” or “Asado” grills are proudly manufactured from stainless steel by ourselves in the UK and are based on the world renowned Argentinian style of grill which is perfect for cooking big steaks or other cuts of meat, fish or vegetarian dishes to perfection. Hardwood logs are burned down in the refractory fire brick lined basket to charcoal embers then moved under either or both of the two adjustable cooking areas to give a stable cooking temperature under the grill plate. The classic’V’ shaped angled grill guides oil and grease into the removable drip tray at the front, reducing flare-ups and the whole grilling surface can be easily raised or lowered using the internally braked hand wheel giving more control over the. There is no external locking mechanism, simply rotate the handwheel until the “V” shaped grill is at the desired height, release the handwheel and the internal brake will keep the grill at that level until the handwheel is rotated once again, moving the “V” shaped grill to another level. Two separately adjustable grills gives the ability to quickly sear and slow cook at the same time. Four rear warming shelves complete the main body of the grill. The dimensions of our “Brasa” wood fired grills are 1195mm x 650mm x 850mm high. Weight is 40kg approx. Firebrick dimensions are 230mm x 115mm x 25mm thick. The weight of each brick is 1kg approx.
