The offset design is based on traditional brick barbecue pits where the fire is built in one chamber and the smoke and heat circulates around the food in another. The more oxygen you let in – the hotter the fire! You can also adjust the vent on the chimney to control the release of smoke from the main chamber. Keep your eye on the barrel’s inner temperature with the gauge on the lid of the large cooking chamber. The large main chamber is 68cm long with 1 rack for grilling or smoking and 1 warming rack. That’s enough room to cook 18 standard size beef burgers and keep 12 warm. The offset firebox is 39cm long and comes with grilling rack suitable for cooking 6 medium chicken legs.
